Step up your career by getting paid to reach your maximum potential as an NLC certified trainer. We will train you to be comfortable, effectively delivering classroom and field training to lineworkers at every stage of their career using modern technology and the best curriculum in the trade. This is everything you love about the trade, minus the late -night storm calls and long hours.
NLC’s Training Specialists are industry tradespeople with expertise in electric power, telecommunications, or natural gas. Before their first day of class, recently hired Training Specialists (we call them “Maroons”) complete NLC’s instructor training academy where they learn to excel as educators for adult learners. Every year, our Maroons deliver training to thousands of industry workers from pre-apprentice level to advanced, both on campus and all over the nation. A successful Training Specialist will have 8-10 years of applicable work experience, a deep love for training, the heart of a mentor and coach, and a passion to see people learn and grow.
