Position Overview

The Director, HR leads the organizations Human Resource functions and supports the strategic needs of the organization as they relate to organization design, headcount planning and analysis, compensation, and other aspects of human capital management.  The person in this role leverages their broad HR and business experience to foster the employee experience and ensure the company is a great place to work and grow.  The Director, HR works closely with Senior Leadership and key departments of our parent company to ensure alignment and compliance with them as well as local, state and federal requirements.

*MUST RESIDE LOCAL TO SITE/ RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE

  *UP TO 10% TRAVEL REQUIRED WITH THIS ROLE

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive the development, delivery, and effectiveness of HR projects, policies, and programs including software, benefits administration, policy management, employee development, and HR analytics.
  • Manage annual compensation, market review, and headcount budgeting process to ensure fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices across all departments and locations.
  • Lead collaboration between HR and business leaders to support business initiatives and provide support and customer service.
  • Direct the collection and reporting of workforce data and analytics to inform business decisions, measure financial impact, and prioritize critical talent needs.
  • Direct talent acquisition and retention efforts including job design, total compensation, recruitment process, and candidate selection.
  • Own overall employee experience, reward and recognition, and onboarding efforts; partners with internal learning institution and Senior Leadership to develop, implement, and improve professional development programs and career framework.
  • Partner with parent company (Quanta Services) HR and other key departments to ensure compliance with all applicable policy and laws including EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc. Lead employee relations efforts including performance management and HR investigations.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to HR team; develop and manage HR budget.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a leadership position with operational and fiscal responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in compensation, employee relations, and people analytics.

Technical Requirements/ Core Competencies

  • Project and Change Management.
  • Expert knowledge of labor laws and best practices.
  • Proficient knowledge of job design and organizational design.
  • Ability to identify, assess, implement, and configure HR software such as HRIS and ATS.
  • Strong business acumen.

Salary

$117,000 - $133,000 annual salary, DOE + an outstanding benefits package
