Position Overview

The Operations Manager leads and oversees campus/ department administrative and operational functions to ensure efficient, timely, and high-quality student and customer experience. This individual in this role will be responsible for driving processes, schedules, and key performance indicators, supporting instructional and leadership teams, coordinating program operations, and maintaining effective use of resources, facilities, tools, and technology. The Operations Manager will work collaboratively with campus and department leadership to execute operational goals, lead teams, manage facilities and inventory, and ensure accurate communication and delivery of program information while upholding organizational values and standards.

*FULL ON-SITE POSITION BASED OUT OF NLC’s EDGEWATER, FL CAMPUS

*MUST RESIDE WITHIN A 60-MILE RADIUS OF WORK LOCATION

*UP TO 10% TRAVEL REQUIRED WITH THIS ROLE

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Refine and drive processes to guarantee the student experience is efficient, timely, and clear, and training schedules are optimized to enhance student experience and outcomes.
  • Be responsible for leading campus/ department performance by monitoring and adjusting KPIs to meet or exceed established standards, educational outcomes, and business metrics.
  • Organize and host customers, utility companies, trade organizations, and other partners while using fluent knowledge of program offerings and service and demonstrating organizational values.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through prompt, appropriate, and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure an audit-ready state and compliance with registrar office and accrediting agencies by maintaining and documenting all testing, competencies, certifications, attendance, and grade report summaries with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Keep current with changes to programs, policies, and procedures to deliver accurate information to students, customers, and the public. Act as subject matter expert on polices and procedures for all campus/ department programs.
  • Utilize tools and technology, and system integrations to prepare, deliver, and complete training events and manage student and client records.
  • Supervise operations coordinators (and facilities at some locations), and perform all related job functions that include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, establishing goals, and professional development opportunities.
  • Supervise departmental procedures and processes ensuring effective, efficient, and accurate program operations, reports, and other related functions.
  • Manage the operations budget to include tracking, cost control, and forecasting.

Required Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in administrative support role with customer interactions
  • No less than 3 years of management experience with operational responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, business management, or related field or equivalent experience

Technical Requirements/ Core Competencies

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multifunctional teams
  • Process improvement and project planning/ oversight experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Project management skills
  • Scheduling and coordination expertise

Salary

$85,758 - $95,287 annual salary, DOE
