Position Overview

The Senior People Partner is a collaborative partner within the HR department and with employees and leaders across the organization.  This role manages employee transfers, compensation, and benefits administration, 401k, leave of absences, HRIS data, HR compliance, policy development and maintenance, and various people-related activities.  This individual will provide core HR operational support throughout the employee life cycle (onboarding through offboarding). Providing day-to-day support to create an exceptional employee experience and enhance workplace culture.  The Senior People Partner serves as the primary HR contact for employees at all levels of the organization.

*PART-TIME (UP TO 30 HOURS PER WEEK)
*FULL ON-SITE POSITION BASED OUT OF OUR MERIDIAN, ID CAMPUS

  *UP TO 10% TRAVEL REQUIRED WITH THIS ROLE

  *DUE TO PART-TIME NATURE OF POSITION, NO MEDICAL BENEFITS, BUT WILL ACCRUE PTO

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide support to leaders with full-cycle workforce needs, including organizational design, workforce planning, compensation, employee engagement, performance management, and retention efforts.
  • Develop, implement, and provide training on people-related policies and procedures.
  • Provide coaching/ mentoring support to employees and employee leaders on people-related matters such as communication, conflict resolution, crucial conversations, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills.
  • Provide guidance and recommendation on employee relations, performance management, and people development.
  • Ensure HR compliance with local, state, and federal laws; compliance with all HR-related organizational policies.

Required Education & Experience

  • Associates degree in related field; Human Resources, Business Management, Public or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Human Resources.

Technical Requirements/ Core Competencies

  • Familiar with HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting HR investigations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, and promoting consistent application across organization.
