Position Overview

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, providing information about our programs to help them make informed decisions about their educational and career goals.  In addition to working with prospective students and their families, this role will work closely with other stakeholders throughout the admissions lifecycle.

 

*FULL ON-SITE POSITION

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a recruitment caseload of prospective students, providing them with comprehensive information about program offerings, admissions requirements and timelines, tuition and financial aid options, and career opportunities.
  • Offer personalized support to prospective students and their families, addressing any questions and concerns while using various communication tools (phone, text, email, Zoom, etc.)
  • Assist prospective students in the completion of application forms and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Review and process student applications.
  • Maintain records within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Student Information System (SIS) pertaining to all leads, applicant status, and enrolled student data and communications.
  • Educate, motivate, and guide prospective students through the decision-making process while having the ability to understand each individual students’ motivation. Identify and address any barriers to enrollment, providing guidance on how to overcome those challenges; helping to implement strategies that enhance student retention.
  • Partner with admissions team members and other departments to enhance and streamline processes ensuring a seamless experience for students from initial contact through campus integration.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions that help stay informed on institutional policies, program updates, and admissions best practices.

Required Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an admissions-related, student services, recruitment, or similar customer service role

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Data Entry/ Database Management
  • Student Information Systems (SIS) Management
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Salary

$20.95 - $23.57 per hour, DOE
